Custom Made: Paint Like A Pro!

Not everyone has a great photo they'd like to recreate in paint. Not everyone wants to paint one special image… that's ok. In fact that's more than just ok.

We know that painting is therapeutic, we know it's stress killer and a way of keeping the brain active and improves hand eye co-ordination which for those of us who barely write by hand anymore and just use a keyboard- what a great way to keep sharp!

So, after some very positive but productive feedback we've also decided to create the Splat Pack.

The great thing with the Splat Pack is that as it's a group, a community even, we'll let you choose the image to paint next. Very democratically, we'll produce a number of designs and over the month you can vote for the image you would like to choose.
When the deadline comes around we'll print it, load you with paints and brushes and have the bundle in an eco friendly package on your doorstep in just a few days!

To start with (until the community can discuss and decide the future direction) we'll be starting with the theme of…

Pop Culture ICONS!

YES! POP CULTURE ICONS!

We all have someone we admire in our pop culture, someone inspirational or entertaining or vibrant and larger than life. I think those people are more than the sum of their image and deserve to make it into PAINT!

To start off, I've chosen my favourite pop culture icons: THE BEATLES baby!
I've chosen a cool early 60's band picture where they are all close together and have a shared tone in their uniform suits. They are all young and full of promise and well worth taking the time to get that paintbrush in hand and start making a go of!

If you'd like to add a standard Painting By Numbers that you chose the image for, at the end of the checkout process there's a chance to add one with the 35% discount pre-applied. So if you want to kill 2 birds with one stone, this is the button to press!

Come on, the group is waiting for you!
research suggests that regularly painting improves your hand to eye co-ordination, it destresses you and improves your mood. There is also research to suggest that adults over 70 who engaged with art or crafting had a lower risk of developing cognitive issues that other adults who read or pursued other activities.

OK, not everyone is pro Facebook.

The great thing about Facebook though is that almost everyone is on it. Seriously.

Even if you only create a profile to join the group, it's free and the features of a Facebook group are by far better than any other platform I have considered. I've tried a lot.
I even paid membership to several sites claiming to be 'the next Facebook', but they aren't. No names, but don't bother.

Anyway, the amazing thing with your membership is that you have access to the Facebook group (a link will be sent to you in your email to make sure you always have it) and once you've answered a few easy peasy questions we can let you in and share your progress with each other, meet each other, discuss future paintings you'd like to do, propose images for painting in the pack, ask questions, share techniques… the list goes on.

The main thing for me with the Custom'd Painting By Numbers is individuality and personalisation. The thing for me with the Splat Pack is community. Togetherness. Sharing in an activity - wherever you are even if you're stuck in a flippin' lockdown again (please no…)

I really hope you all enjoy this experience, and look forward to receiving the kit each month.

Also, I feel like my Mum saying this (love you Mum!), but if you're good and you eat all your dinner you'll be the first to hear about coming products and get to have them first and at a discount.
Make sure you're on the mailing list too- these are the 2 places that will hear first about new and the discounts!
